1. Respect and Sportsmanship
- All members, including athletes, coaches, parents, and staff, must treat each other with respect, kindness, and dignity at all times.
- Verbal abuse, bullying, or any form of disrespect toward others will not be tolerated.
- Sportsmanship must be demonstrated in all interactions, both within and outside the club.
2. Commitment to Excellence
- Athletes are expected to attend practices regularly and participate fully in training sessions, competitions, and events. Athletes (or parent on behalf of athlete) should notify the coach-in-change of their absence from training.
- Commitment to personal and team growth, through consistent effort and a positive attitude, is vital for the academy's success.
- Coaches will provide constructive feedback, guidance, and support to help athletes reach their potential.
3. Discipline and Professionalism
- Punctuality is required for all training sessions, competitions/events, and meetings.
- Athletes must follow instructions from coaches, and all members should be attentive during training or events.
- Use of foul language, inappropriate gestures, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited.
4. Health and Safety
- All athletes are required to inform the coaching staff of any injuries or health concerns that may affect participation.
- Proper swimwear and equipment must be used during training sessions and competitions.
- Safety guidelines will be followed at all times in and around the pool.
5. Integrity and Fair Play
- Athletes are expected to compete fairly and follow all competition rules and regulations.
- Cheating, dishonesty, or any behavior that undermines the integrity of the sport will result in disciplinary action.
- Athletes must refrain from the use of banned substances and adhere to anti-doping regulations.
6. Communication
- Open and respectful communication between athletes, parents, coaches, and staff is encouraged.
- Concerns or disputes should be addressed promptly and privately with the relevant parties.
- Social media use should be responsible, respectful, and aligned with the club's values and guidelines.
7. Parental Involvement
- Parents are encouraged to support their athletes positively by promoting a healthy balance between competition and enjoyment.
- Parents should refrain from coaching or directing their athletes during practices and competitions unless requested by the coaching staff.
- Any concerns from parents should be addressed with the coaching staff respectfully and privately.
8. Representation of the Academy
- All members represent Aesthete Aquatics Academy both on and off the field. As such, conduct during events, social functions, and community interactions should be respectful and aligned with the club's values.
- Athletes must wear appropriate club gear during competitions and official events, representing the academy with pride.
9. Handling of Sensitive Information
- All members must treat sensitive information—including but not limited to team lineups, event entries, routine difficulty cards (coach cards), choreography, music, and contact information for competition suits/apparels —with utmost confidentiality.
- Sharing this information, whether intentionally or accidentally, with individuals outside the club is strictly prohibited.
- Upon withdrawal from the academy, former athletes and parents must not take or disclose this sensitive information in any new club or public space.
10. Consequences of Misconduct
- Any violation of this code of conduct will result in disciplinary actions, which may include warnings, suspension, or termination of membership, depending on the severity of the infraction.
- The academy reserves the right to modify the consequences based on individual circumstances and conduct history.
